OTC-Canada has been delivering courses online for the Provinces since 2010.

Having spent many years working in various areas of law, Wendy recognized the lack of relevant law courses for Legal Secretaries, so she created a program allowing secretaries to qualify and work as Legal Secretaries.

In 1988, she created the Legal Secretary Course and set up her Law Training College in London.

In 1990, she added Paralegal Courses.

In 2000, the college ended traditional classroom lessons and transitioned to Online Learning.

In 2010 she founded OTC-Canada offering law courses online for Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Office Administrators and Business Law.

Our focus is on allowing students to start their legal careers in a shorter time by specializing in areas of law. This proved to be a very beneficial formula as students no longer have to study for years in order to qualify. They are able to add-on other law subjects at a later date, expand their legal qualifications and take their careers further sooner.

The OTC-study formula is yet another success story.

Since introducing OTC-Canada, student numbers have grown enormously due to the easy and convenient study method. Lessons cover the Canadian Legal System and legal procedures for most of the provinces and are accessible from wherever you are located. Two exceptions are that we do not offer the legal system of Quebec due to its Civil Code system. We also do not deliver Paralegal programs for Ontario as online paralegal programs were prohibited by the Law Society of Ontario.

For many mature students, completing a university course is not a feasible option due to work and family commitments. We offer opportunities to change careers without compromising salaries, family time and excessive travelling. Our courses supplement previous work experience, enabling many to change career paths, get promotions, improve earning potential and get job satisfaction.

Our online courses are Tutor-led and are very much like a traditional classroom, except that you are using your computer from home or work, at a time convenient to you! Questions are sent to us by email and we aim to reply to students' queries within 24 hours. Registrations are conducted online. Tests are conducted online with a webcam for monitoring. Course material are emailed for printing and assignments are sent by email. All very convenient!
